Before joining CrossFit Limerick you must attend Foundation classes to learn the basics. This will help you understand how the class works and the basic movements.

 

Basic Info

We want you to learn the basics of how CrossFit works in a small group setting before you join our main classes.

Our foundations course takes place over a two week period. When you have finished your introduction classes, you are also entitled to 4 free classes from the main timetable to help you get into the swing of things.


We run foundations from


8:30pm - 9:30pm on Mondays & Wednesdays

The cost of the course is €70.

A €20 deposit is required to secure your place as numbers are limited.

what to expect

Our foundations course introduces and teaches the main movements used in CrossFit covering elements of gymnastics, olympic weightlifting and metabolic conditioning. As well as teaching these movements, we will also show how to scale movements and modify them so that they are accessible for everyone.

It is also an opportunity to learn how a CrossFit class and a CrossFit gym works. We will explain the structure of a class and what to expect in each class and also how to use our equipment - from barbells to assault bikes. You will get the opportunity to meet and be coached by our coaches and get to know a small group of people who will be joining Crossfit Limerick at the same time as you.

We also take this opportunity to talk about nutrition, mobility and  other factors that can affect your training.

Overall, we will do everything we can to help you get the most out of Crossfit Limerick in a safe and enjoyable manner.
